It's getting hot in here...

Hana has a few onesies that are long sleeved but it's been so hot here she hasn't been able to wear them yet. I was worried she'd outgrow them before she got the chance to wear them so I decided to make them short sleeved! I have finished one so far:

Step One:
Cut off sleeves and serge edges
Step Two:
Sew the hems (with double needle!)
Step Three:
Put cooler onesie on adorable baby

On June 20th, 2011 Hana turned 2 months old!

Bike to Work Day 2011

Today was bike to work day here in Boulder and it was awesome! I went last year on my way in to work at Target. It's just businesses that provide breakfast stations. This year I'm not working at this time but really wanted to participate. I asked my friend Amy if she'd come sit with Hana while I went out. Joam works 3-9am loading trucks at UPS and bike to work day was from 6-9. Amy came over around 7am and I biked down to Alfalfa's where they had some hot food and some freebies to grab and then stopped at the Dushanbe Tea House for some chai (the first real, non-starbucks chai I've ever had). Last stop was Liquor Mart where last year I had a virgin bloody mary but this year I stuck with orange juice. Then I headed home to chat with Amy before she had to get to work at 9. It was nice to be on my bike for the first time since I found out I was pregnant.

Hana's first trip to the library. It was a harder walk than i thought. Especially on the way home. Hopefully we'll get out more and more.

FW:7 weeks old

I can't believe it's been 7 weeks since I had Hana. She is adorable. She smiles all the time and is starting to coo. She talks the most to her daddy. :)
