I remembered!

I keep getting asked about the lunch photos. I just realized why I had really started that. I hate looking at other people's blogs and they haven't updated in forever. I probably check once or twice a day. So I thought, well I haven't updated in forever so I decided to take pictures. (:

Right now I'm watching Alanis Morissette in concert on tv. Love her. I want to be her. Especially with her accent.

Weekends are great

So my aunt called and said she was driving through on Saturday (today)! I got to see her (my mom's twin) and my grandma. They took me and Joam to my uncle's house in Rancho. It was beautiful. Let me see if I can get any pictures from my phone to add later.

Tonight I'm going to say goodbye to my old boss/friend. ):

Sunday I've got a get together in the afternoon in Rio Linda.

Then it's back to work. Which I still love. This guy at work has been sharing his iPod with me and we listen to country music. It's been fun. He has country from when I used to listen to it and he's making me listen to some of the newer stuff which I don't really like but some of it's growing on me.

I've just wanted to post pictures. I hate pictures of myself these days so you get to see pictures from my lunch times.

How are you? I'm good. Working. That's about it. Scrapbooking with friends sometimes. Walking with my husband and our dog. Maybe I should take pictures of that?

another great weekend. drove up to the middle of nowhere to scrapbook with some friends. not a lot of scrapbook got done, but we all hung out, talked, played rock band, and ate. (:

Saturday, how I love you

Today is the first Saturday in a while that I'm not working overtime. Hooray for sleeping in, boo to a smaller paycheck next week. Oh well. Completely worth it today.

While hubby is still sleeping I'm getting online and checking out a lot of things I hadn't in a while. One of my favorites: www.wesabe.com an online financial tracking website that is A-MAZE-ing. The only con is that it is used best when you can keep up with it daily. I've been trying extra hard to have a better handle on our finances and have been doing great with writing everything down in a check registry since December. I had only done it for a week or two at the most because so many transactions fly by with the use of the handy-dandy-check card. But I'm forcing myself to write it all down. And I use a pencil to write upcoming expenses and paychecks on future pages so I can keep a pending total which has helped a ton! Yes, I may have 200$ in the bank now, but if I go to Old Navy and spend $20, that's $20 I won't have to pay bills with later and see... I need that $20 in two weeks. Anyways, don't know if that makes sense, but it has helped me so, so, so, so much. Wesabe.com does that, just electronically. I just don't have good access to it daily. I do check in with it from time to time because it has awesome graphs and budget tools and stuff. I highly recommend it.

Also, last night was the cd release show for my friend's band, Quiet Company. They put their new album on their website: www.quietcompanymusic.com yesterday for those of us that couldn't be in Austin, TX for the actual cd release concert. I played it over and over and over and can't wait to get my own copy. You need to listen to their music. You really do.

In other news, Joam is recording. I am so excited for this because I love, love, love his music. And I'm not just saying that because he's my husband. (:

I'm hoping for a great weekend this weekend. I still love my new job and my co-workers. I would probably be bored to tears if they weren't there. Instead, I'm usually laughing til I cry thanks to Nick, Sean, and Shon.

hi

i went to the chiropractor today. i had xrays done last week that he compared to the ones i had taken two years ago. something in my lower back is crooked. so much that i could totally see it.

i asked him what was that black cloud in my torso... he said it was my colon. i needed to do a colon cleanser or something. kinda gross, sorry.

and two years ago my neck curve was 17 degrees and now it's 15 degrees and he said that's bad.

so i'm going to go twice a week for a month or so.
