BTW - I had the baby!

Hana Adara Cardoni
7 pounds 11.7 ounces 20.5 inches

Less than 24 hours of labor total. Less than 2 hours of transition (the hardest part, in my opinion). 25 minutes of pushing. No pain meds, low amount of pitocin.

Due Date! 40 weeks!

Today is the due date! No contractions at all yet.
We picked up my mom-in-law, Teresa, from the airport. Hopefully this baby will come before she has to head home. My parents are coming on the 20th. Come on out baby!

39weeks 6days

A day in the life of pregnant Cora:
Joam and I run errands around town to get stuff done (like buy sewing supplies at JoAnn Fabrics) and so I'm walking around.

Car is all ready for labor day:
1.) Car seat
2.) Labor bag
3.) Postpartum suitcase
Door to Boulder Nurse Midwives' office:
My bi-weekly appointment: Getting an NST! (Non-stress test - because my blood pressure is slightly high they do this to make sure baby is moving like she should)
And there you have it! Tomorrow is the due date, wish us luck. Well, luck's not needed... she's coming out either way. Wish me a great birth experience and a healthy outcome. Yeah.

39 weeks and 5 days

Baby Cardoni is due in two days! Feeling some weirdness in the southern hemisphere tonight, but I don't know that it's contractions. More so feels like round ligament pain. It seems to be hurting because she's moving.


Like the flower broach? I whipped it up tonight to cover a stain on my shirt. Yeah, I'm that crafty... haha.

Testing?

Here is our current stash of cloth diaper inserts/prefolds:

Top left is the "small" size, top right is the big size that my wonderful aunt sent us. We'll be using them for burp cloths and what have you until she's big enough for those.
Bottom left is the "newborn" size. Then there is our current stack of four diaper covers. I have a friend that will be giving us some newborn sizes and I'm hoping to learn to sew my own diaper covers soon. In the red bowl is some powder and lotions. Those are on top of our wipes!



Here is my first testing subject with a newborn sized prefold with a snappie holding it on.
